The Riverview Baseball Association takes great pleasure in announcing its 2012 Invitational Hardball
Tournament.
The RBA Invitational has grown into one of the largest annual hardball tournaments
in Detroit's Downriver area, offering an exciting and competitive venue for baseball programs
throughout southeastern Michigan, northern Ohio and southwest Ontario. This year's tournament will be held July 6, 7 & 8. Continuing this year are single age divisions, with play in 9U, 10U, 11U, 12U, 13U, and 14U, as well as a 16U and 18U division. Depending on registrations, there will be up to 64 teams, based on 8 teams in each division. In the event that fewer than 4 applications are received for a division, that division may be combined with another to facilitate play, based upon a conventional 10U, 12U, 14U and High School division classification. Each team is guaranteed at least three games. The entry fee is $335 per team. NOTE AGE CUTOFF: player age is age as of April 30.
Although entry is subject to the sole and exclusive discretion of the RBA Tournament Director,
entries will generally be approved on a "first-in-time" basis. No Entry Application (click here) will be
considered unless accompanied by a check made payable to the Riverview Baseball
Association in the amount of $335 per team. If an Entry Application is not approved for any reason, the entry fee will be returned.
